We know you never slack off at work, but if you did, what would you do?
Oh I would never look at the internets for non-work related purposes, of course.
So most likely, were I to take 5 from my busy schedule, I would walk over to our library and study up on the wonderful world of pharmacokinetics! For it is both my joy and my sustenance.
If I weren't reading blogs, or looking at uploaded photos on the internets, that is....
What's the most obsessive-compulsive thing you do in a normal day?
Submitted by Nikki.
Hmm. So hard to pick just one compulsion! I'll prolly have to go with filing my nails. Which i do daily. While i am working. And i don't even have nice, pretty nails to show for it. I'm sure it drives my coworkers nuts. Sooooowwwwwyyyyy everybody!
But at least it's not as bad as the guy i used to sit by who clipped his nails every day. the nail clipper noise makes the insides of my ears itch. [*shudder*]
How do you take your tea or coffee?
Submitted by Vasquez.
well now this all depends...
If I am having a spot of tea and it's breakfast blend then it's milk and sugar. If it's tea time and there are scones involved then definately milk and sugar with perhaps earl grey or orange pekoe. If it's relaxation time and i'm having cinnamon or herbal then honey and lemon, if the honey hasn't turned into a block of sugar that is. Otherwise it's simply sugar. I have a sweet tooth. or twentythree. give or take.
Now, if we're talking coffeetime such as the automatic drip or french press Morning Blend types then I likes me some flavored creamery. We tend to rotate the flavor based on the season. Coconut, Hazlenut, Vanilla are more the summery blends we like. Chai cream or Peppermint mocha in the fall and winter. We like the Pumpkin Spice Lattes very mucho in the fall but not the off the shelf Coffeemate version of this cream. It just doesn't do it justice.
When I visit the Bucky, I stick to the Latte. Peppermint Mocha is obviously in high rotation right now, Pumpkin Spice around turkeyday. Otherwise it's plain old Tall Latte with a sprinkle of cinnamon and half an Equal packet. NOT the Sweet and Blow and Not the Splendiferously Gross Yellow Pack.
This is probably way more than you ever wanted to know about me and my coffee/tea preferences. Wouldn't you like to meet up and share a warm beverage and some chat now? Mmm-hmm! :-)
What's on your holiday wish list?
My *true* holiday wish list consists of:
The hope that my family will all be in a good mood, happy and cheerful and relaxed during the entire vacation. That they will not be consumed with any other thought than enjoying the time we have together. It's time to put away the troubles of the year and focus!
My other hope is that we find out that Baby Penny's foot is healing and that it will continue to grow normally. We don't want to have to put her through some horrible surgery in the coming year.
As far as physical schtuff goes? My dream list to Sampa Paws is that I'll take a new stereo, surround sound speakers and a ginormous flat screen HD TeeVee to boot. I will also take a new and more reliable car for LT; preferably one that can go 5 minutes without a major piece falling off.
Oh yeah, that and some hand lotion. Winter is hell on the skin up here.
What are your superstitions?
Submitted by lazywong.
Like most athletes I am superstitious about my pre-game routine. I always have to put on my left skate first and tape my shin pads a certain way or, of course, all hell will break loose. Of this I am sure. During warm-ups I have to go though a certain set of drills in a certain order to have my best game. Deviations will most definitely result in poor performance. OH THE OCD TENDENCIES!
I think I am becoming superstitious about my parking place at work too. Well really it's more the parking lot i choose to leave the car in. For whatever reason, if I park in a particular lot I *always* seem to have a shit-hole of a day. Whereas if I park in my fav lot, provided it's not full, it's smooth sailing.
What is your pet peeve, the one thing which really drives you mad?
Submitted by Beki.
What is my Pet Peeve? When people move my cheese. Man, I hate that. I know my cheese quite well and I like it where it is, thankyouverymuch. So leave it be if you, please.
What are the things in life that you're truly passionate about?

finding a few good jello shot recipes for tomorrow night's party.
so far we have last year's fav: pina colada.
i may be adding chocolate covered cherry jello shots this year. yarm.
we will see. i've got to do *something* to get rid of this bottle of kirsch.
UPDATE:
The Pina Colada shots reign supreme once again. Cherry bombs were a close second and the Margarita shots came in last, but still a crowd pleaser. Tequila has done too many people wrong over the years so i blame that for the 3rd place finish. I never seem to make enough of these things, though. 50 shots were gone in roughly 1.5 hrs. This always impresses me considering it's a fairly small group at this shin dig. Going to have to remember to double the supplies for next year!
Are you a re-gifter? Have you ever re-gifted?
Submitted by Sandals.
Oh no no. i love the pure joy of the shopping-for-someone-else experience. Oh who am i kidding? I am *always* looking for an excuse to go shopping. Money burns holes in my pocket. It is why i will forever be poor-ish and a worker bee. I will, however, give away things to others that I have received as gifts and don't want if they express an interest in the item.
What is your favorite board game?
Submitted by I'm Unique.
I don't think this actually qualifies as a board game, per se, but I love Taboo. I also love to play Balderdash.
As far as true board games go, Scrabble is always a plus in my book. I play regularly with my family on vacations and over holidays, with the occasional 500-Rum or Monopoly mixed in.
