This is my earliest memory. In the neighborhood I spent the first few memorable years of my life, there was a new road. A hilly new road with lots of gravel on it. For whatever reason I do recall that we would haul our trikes up to the tippy top of said hill, line 'em up and let 'er rip. Flying down the hill at breakneck speed as fast as the twee wheels of our trikes (or probably big wheels too) would take us, until we hit the flats on the bottom, and either skidded to a stop safely or lined into the curb and wrecked horribly into our side-yard. YEEEEEEHAW let's do it again!

Frankly, I remember a lot of stubbed toes and crying to my momma in those days. My mom said she looked out the kitchen window one day and saw us doing this and it nearly made her stroke out right on the spot. whoops! sorry mom. It's a wonder I am still alive today with all the stupid things I did as a youngun.
